Connecticut Clinical Research Center (CCRC) is a
vital component of Urology Specialists P.C., the
oldest continually operating urology practice in
Connecticut. We are a group of nine providers,
all of whom are actively involved in research.
CCRC has enhanced the lives of many patients who
have benefited from new and novel treatments. In
addition, CCRC has contributed to the
development of the latest therapies in urology.
Our clinical trials attract patients from local
communities, as well as surrounding states.
The physicians have established a national
reputation in many aspects of urology. Our
members frequently lecture locally, nationally
and in the international arena. We bring
together practical clinical experience and
research knowledge. As a research site we often
lead the nation in clinical trial recruitment.
Our research center has over 16 years of
experience in phases I, II, III and IV studies.
The well trained staff works closely with the
investigators to assure that patients are
treated with the utmost respect and dignity.
A
separate entrance and waiting area are available
for research subjects providing a private and
welcoming environment. Most often the patients
interact with the same study coordinator for the
duration of the study which offers a much
friendlier and more personalized experience.
